Master Studies

  • Masters by Coursework
    Entry into a master’s degree requires you to have completed an undergraduate qualification that is comparable to an Australian bachelor degree, honors degree or graduate diploma.
  • Master of Research
    The minimum entry requirement for Master of Research programs is a four-year Bachelor degree, or its equivalent, in a relevant discipline. If you do not have a four-year honors degree, you must demonstrate that you have conducted a research project equivalent to 25% of a year’s full-time education at fourth year, or masters, level.
  • Master by Philosophy
    The minimum entry requirement is generally the same as for the MPhil, although entry requirements may vary from one university to another

Doctoral Studies

Admission Requirements

The minimum entry requirement for the PhD is a four-year Bachelor degree, or its equivalent, in a relevant discipline, which includes a substantial research component equivalent to at least 25 percent of one year of full-time education.

If you do not have a four-year bachelor degree, then applicants need to have a three year bachelor degree with two years master’s degree.
